Now why would Andrew McCabe be stepping down if this was all a nothing burger as many on the left claim? I suspect he is very worried. I mean if getting donations for his wife didn't cause him enough shame, what could?

McCabe came under fire recently by President Trump and congressional Republicans after he was accused of political bias while serving
The FBI recently denied a watchdog request to turn over text messages sent by the deputy director, which may expose further bias of senior leaders and investigators within the bureau.
During an interview on Sunday, Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said the FBI refused to hand over text messages sent by McCabe after the watchdog filed a lawsuit last year.
McCabe was mentioned several times in the controversial texts between disgraced FBI Agents Peter Stzrok and Lisa Page, particularly one discussing an “insurance policy” against a Donald Trump presidency.
Fitton is calling for Attorney General Jeff Session’s to secure all evidence not yet handed over.
