Trump told him: “Would I go back in? Yeah, I'd go back in. I would love to.
“But it's got to be a good deal for the US.”
this has been Trumps position -nothing shocking about it

That is not really a u-turn at all. He said from the get go he would sign of it was a better deal for the US.

Wait a day. He'll deny he ever said it, as he watches the coal sludge empty into the rivers he recently earmarked for destruction.

He doesn't even know what is in the agreement. All he knows is Obama envy. How the hell do you get 'a better deal' for America?

He never upheld his end of any 'deal' in his life. The world doesn't trust him.

Trump knows the bad stuff in the agreement, that's why he refused to sign it.

The irony is that emissions have actually increased in Germany, whilst those in the US have sharply decreased. Those are facts, but climate alarmists would never admit that.

Yeah, I saw that too, but considering the source, I didn't comment.

That said, we Americans have decreased our energy consumption primarily due to the rising costs of gasoline and heating fuel over the last decade.
Although I do own a gas guzzling big block hot rod, I have traded my full size SUV daily driver in for a smaller 4cyl. all-wheel drive last year.
Common sense is not a gift, it's a punishment because you have to deal with everyone who doesn't have it.
