Default Macron says France would have quit the EU if it held a referendum

I watched this interview this morning and couldn't believe that he said it. He was speaking in English so there was no possibility of translation error.

Hardly a surprise, the French are fed up with Merkel calling the shots. Although it is increasingly looking like her reign is over.

Would have is the key, didn't Le Pen run and lose on a platform promise to have a referendum

Besides, the EU, just as most of the world, is currently enjoying an economic upswing, you should be more worried about him cherry picking your City neighborhood

French President said he did not want voters in France to be given referendum
so much for French direct democracy..
how can he say that and not provide a referendum? This means he's ignoring the will of the people

It's typical for right-wingers to not know what's going on

Another subject you are totally ignorant about, it's getting to be a habit. The EU raises around 90% of its finance via the City of London. They are starting to wake up to that fact.

The EU is truly jealous of the UK economic performance, that wasn't supposed to happen!

No where in your article does it say "EU raises around 90% of its finance via the City of London," so I'd have to question if that event is really true

Do you mean cause "François-Xavier Bellamy" says such it means the entire EU is now jealous of the UK's economic performance?

You do the same thing in every position which you are challenged, come back with some individual and then erroneously generalize that his/her views represent an entire grouping.

London is the financial capital of the world bar none. If you don't know that, well then, that's your problem not mine!!
