no....that is my point.....the iron is not hot because the Dems have no leverage......

ecause Trump's administration has a Republican government. So if there's a government shutdown, the Republicans will be blamed for it. Who else would you blame?!
???.....the people at fault......in this instance it would be the Demmycrats who shut down the government if it is shut down......

You have made your point with meticulous precision!
I understand your point with absolute divine perfection.
You simply could not possibly be more wrong.

McConnell needs 60 votes. Without at least a few Democrats, McConnell DOES NOT HAVE THEM.

That sir or m'am is called "Democrat leverage"!
The Dems aren't simply going to fold like a cheap camera, and give McConnell whatever he asks for, and get NOTHING in return.

Know it or not, believe it or not, like it or not, admit it or not, at this moment,
and until the debt ceiling issue is addressed, THE DEMOCRATS HAVE POWERFUL LEVERAGE. They may never have MORE leverage than they do right now, between now and election day.

    And water is wet.
Please do not waste time stating the obvious to me.
You know you are pointlessly right.
    I know you're pointlessly right.
What difference does it make ?!?!

The Democrats are NOT in charge !!
You're proposing to have PUBLIC OPINION blame the party that is NOT in charge. That's what passes for rational in your mind ?!?1

NO WONDER Trump is going to be a one-termer!!

If there is a government shutdown it will be because Democrats refuse to provide funding for the border wall, therefore voters will blame the Democrats if there is a government shutdown.

Yet the media will claim it's Trump's fault.

Meaning Republicans don't accept responsibility, even when they have a lock on U.S. federal leadership!

Glad you both admit how irresponsible Republicans continue to be. And we are in accord. You are right.
