It turns out the labor participation rate was lower in September of 2015 at 62.4% than it is now at 62.7%. That was in the provided link. The gross number of people not participating in the labor force is higher now versus then for a very simple reason. The population as a whole has increased. Seems that CNSnews is being intentionally disingenuous with their headline.
