I'm really going to try to keep to the high road on JPP in 2018, and stay away from petty comments & insults, and in general keep the tone respectful. Not sure how successful I'll be, but I'm definitely gonna give it the ol' college try.

It's kind of a drag to see the level of discourse in the country in general. I can put some blame on Trump here (he always takes the low road), but it was going downhill long before him. The internet & the anonymity it provides has been pretty negative in terms of how people react to one another.

We've had incarnations of this & previous boards that were more focused on a higher level of debate & discussion. I'd love to see JPP get back to that.

it was not as hard as I thought

the results how ever were not encouraging


it was a great practice though.

the crazy lie fest seems to be winding down


if fox news changes or dies it will change quickly



we have to find a way for the big money to stop paying for the lies

Some women seem to share your attitude; unironically excusing their own behavior by blaming others. Maybe it's hormonal.

Trump has no effect on me whatsoever. But I don't think it's good for the country to have a leader who sets the kind of example he does.

I don't really think it's unreasonable to say that the POTUS has some effect on the tone & discourse in a country. Do you really think it's irrelevant?
