the fake news is absolutely discrediting themselves. Fuck, I even saw an article by SLATE the other day calling them out. They have already rushed to judgement countless times and have had to retract outright lies. As far as the 3 letter agencies, we've known forever they were corrupt and they are only being exposed even more these days. Our institutions have always been corrupt, you believe in a myth. This is the system we've always lived in, a fake democracy where the deep state is actually in control.
Believe it or not, I do respect your POV on this, wrong as I think it is. Because I think you have generally always believed this - and you're not one of those who all of a sudden believes it, because Trump needs the cavalry.
But it's real X-Files, conspiracy stuff you believe. It's not really possible, at least as a coordinated effort. Are there some in every institution who are power-hungry and have hidden agendas? Probably, but it's hardly some sort of shadow government. We'd have heard about it w/ the #'s involved - there would be leaks, deathbed confessions, posthumous memoirs & revelations. What you suggest logically isn't possible.

I don't consider a media source fake news if it makes an error and then corrects it when shown the light. Fake news media are the ones who knowingly publish/broadcast bullshit and stand by it. Fox is one such, so is Breitbart, so is Daily Kos. I used to watch CNN daily. I don't consider them fake news, but I do see them now as a tabloid like the National Enquirer and no longer a trustworthy source for information. Their infatuation with all things Twittler has driven them right off the rails.

Put blame where it belongs
ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.
