Default Five years later, and nothing done, except, "condolences and prayers,"

"White House deflects gun questions on Sandy Hook anniversary"

"White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders deflected questions about gun legislation when asked Thursday about the fifth anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting that claimed the lives of 26 people."

"Pressed on whether President Donald Trump’s administration is pursuing legislation to prevent further mass shootings, like the 2012 school shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, or another in Las Vegas earlier this year, Sanders instead pointed to the White House’s push to tighten U.S. borders and strengthen national security."

    https://www.politico.com/story/2017/...e-house-296111

This is the exact reason the right wing and NRA's "condolences and prayers" mean little after every mass shooting in America, they are a deflection by design. Five and six year old kids are massacred in a school by semiautomatic weapons and the only thing done is delaying the conversation again while offering "condolences and prayers"

"Since the 2012 Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre, the U.S. has seen 1,518 acts of gun violence in which at least four people were wounded or killed, that’s nearly one mass shooting a day for the 1,754 days since the shocking slaughter of the Connecticut kids."

"The crimes claimed the lives of 1,715 people and wounded more than 6,000 others — all while Congress has failed to enact a single piece of significant gun legislation."

    http://www.nydailynews.com/news/nati...icle-1.3539717

And the conservative solution is more guns and easier access to more guns. If the number of guns was the denominator to keeping people safe we should be the safest Nation in the world instead of one of the leaders in gun deaths

The kid killed the gun owner and stole the gun. What kind of law could prevent that?

are you proposing to make all semi autos illegal and enforce confiscation?
A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

Ah, that's what sensible Americans are proposing to do, unfortunately the gun manufactures have convinced other Americans that they need their guns perpetuating the myth that Atilia the Hun or alike is going to come knocking on their door

Here we go again, anytime guns comes up as a topic a conservative echoes the myth that someone is coming to confiscate all the guns, you can keep your toys, the idea is to make gun owners more responsible and to address the easy access to the endless pool of guns

Such as you stupid fucks that pray after-the-fact?

Or one of the favorites of you barrel-strokers, “Now is not the time to talk about gun violence.”
