Default Omarosa on WH exit: 'I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable'

One can only imagine what kind of "things" she's referring to, given the crowd of snakes and vermin that currently occupy the place. Can't wait to hear what's she's got to say.

    If she lives long enough.

Omarosa Manigault on WH exit: 'I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable'

Reality-TV star turned White House staffer Omarosa Manigault today tried to set the record straight on her reportedly dramatic exit from the White House on Tuesday and alluded to situations in the White House "that have made me uncomfortable."

"[Chief of staff] John Kelly and I had a very straightforward discussion about concerns that I had, issues that I raised, and as a result, I resigned," Manigault said on ABC News' "Good Morning America."

There "were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with," she said.

"But when I have my story to tell, as the only African-American woman in this White House, as a senior staff and assistant to the president, I have seen things that have made me uncomfortable, that have upset me, that have affected me deeply and emotionally, that has affected my community and my people. And when I can tell my story, it is a profound story that I know the world will want to hear," Manigault added.

She and Kelly had a "candid conversation" in the White House Situation Room, she said.

White House sources told ABC News she was fired and escorted off the White House grounds. But Manigault today denied she was fired and escorted off the premises by the U.S. Secret Service.

The agency also denied on Twitter on Wednesday that personnel physically removed her from the complex.

Manigault said that the Secret Service did deactivate her pass, reducing her access to the more classified areas.

Her departure was a long time coming, and Kelly's decision to limit access to the president was a source of tension for her, according to multiple sources.

She said, however, Kelly brought "much needed order to the West Wing," denying that he restricted her access to Trump.

But she added, "Certainly I had more access than most, and people had problems with that. People had problems with my 14-year relationship with this president."

A White House official said in a statement Wednesday that she resigned "to pursue other opportunities."

Manigault, 43, will stay on until Jan. 20, according to the White House.

A former "The Apprentice" contestant, she served on Trump's transition executive committee and was later hired as communications director for the Office of Public Liaison in the White House. She had worked in Vice President Al Gore's office during Bill Clinton's administration.

In her role in the Trump administration, Manigault was among the White House advisers earning the highest salary ($179,700 a year), according to a White House list of staff salaries.

She was in charge of outreach to the leaders of historically black colleges and universities and oversaw Trump's visit to the Smithsonian's African-American museum in Washington, D.C. But Manigault's day-to-day duties could not be pinpointed and, according to Politico, she used the White House as a backdrop for her 39-person bridal party to take wedding photos.

    I don't know.

Can the govt can force you to sign something like that as a condition of working for them?

I'm sure if it's classified national security information they can, but just everyday stuff like staff behavior etc, I'm not so sure.

    Could be very interesting....

I'd love to see Trump go after somebody for violating a nondisclosure they signed in order to work at the White House, that would destroy him.

She got $180 grand a year! Hundred and eighty grand a year and I'd bet some people in the White House had no idea what she did or what her purpose was

Scaramucci or Omarosa, which one tops the list as the biggest joke of a cabinet member, which would be saying something given the cast of characters we've seen march in and out of this White House

    Oh please .. just stop.

Let me guess .. suddenly she's a 'victim' .. anxious to get in on the #MeToo movement.

I can only imagine what she's seen ..

Oh the horror .. the horror.

She was getting paid $179,000 tax payer dollars to look at that thing with no other recognizable duties that anyone can determine .. including her.

There had been a few stories of Omarosa being a bit temperamental in the past.

Omarosa Manigault throws tantrum, has to be escorted from White House after chief of staff fires her........

She’s tired of being fired by Donald Trump.

Former “Apprentice” contestant turned political aide Omarosa Manigault Newman threw a tantrum in the White House and demanded she be allowed to speak with the President as chief of staff John Kelly gave her the boot, sources told the Daily News.

“General Kelly didn't allow her to speak to him. That’s why she was cursing and threatening,” according to a source with knowledge of the Tuesday night to-do.

Newman was then unceremoniously escorted from the West Wing. “It got physical and she had to be removed,” the source said.

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders painted Newman’s end in more magnanimous terms, telling reporters Wednesday she’d resigned effective Jan. 20, the one year anniversary of Trump’s inauguration.

Trump took to Twitter to wish her well.

“Thank you Omarosa for your service! I wish you continued success,” the tweet said.

Newman’s departure from the Trump administration has been rumored since September — following a string of controversies.

A month earlier, the 43-year-old endured a chaotic trip to the National Association of Black Journalists Convention in New Orleans.

An appearance at an event during the convention was described as confrontational and hectic as she aggressively insisted reporters “Ask me a question about me,” while sidestepping inquiries about the administration.

The former “Apprentice” villain also ruffled feathers when she reportedly brought members of her 39-person bridal party to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue for an extended wedding photo shoot.

The unannounced April visit to the White House — with her in full bridal gear — caught fellow senior aides and some security officials by surprise.

She married Pastor John Allen Newman later that month in a small ceremony at the post office-turned-hotel blocks from the White House owned by her boss.

Sources told the Daily News in September that Kelly was unhappy with Newman’s influence on the President and her ability to get him worked up over hot topics.

She also reportedly clashed with her co-workers, who were unsure what exactly she did in her $180,000 a year position as director of communications for the White House Office of Public Liaison.

Kelly cited a litany of reasons, including Newman not getting along with the new head of the White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities, for her dismissal.

Newman “acted very vulgar and cursed a lot and said she helped elect President Trump,” sources told American Urban Radio Networks’ April Ryan.

“And she said, ‘I brought the black vote.’ General Kelly said, ‘no, you did not. It's not there,’” Ryan told CNN.

Newman then tried to enter the residence area of the White House and had to be escorted from the building, Ryan said.

In a statement, the Secret Service denied it removed Newman from the White House, but confirmed — despite Sanders’ denial — that Newman was out immediately.

Newman was fired by Trump three times on “The Apprentice.”

“The Secret Service was not involved in the termination process of Ms. Manigault Newman or the escort off of the complex. Our only involvement in this matter was to deactivate the individual’s pass which grants access to the complex,” the agency said.

Newman, commonly referred to as just Omarosa, appeared on the 2004 season of the President’s reality show and earned a reputation as a ruthless competitor.

She was “fired” by Trump during the run, but reappeared years later on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice” and “All-Star Celebrity Apprentice” — and was given the boot those times too.

“I adore you. We've had tremendous success together. You helped make 'The Apprentice.' You helped make me a star,” Trump told her in the “Apprentice” boardroom in 2013.

    “But Omarosa, you're fired.”

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
