Why do schools have to have dress codes that are sometimes pages long. And very specific?
The schools have realized several things. 1) People dress the way they do in many situations in order to be seen and to get attention. 2) The kind of attention someone wants for dressing a certain way isn't necessarily the way they receive it. 3) To avoid potential problems and head them off before they happen, dress codes are put in place to where the situation has a far less likelihood of happening.

The school where my children attended had a dress code. Those putting it in place stated that the reason for it was what I listed above. The dress code included all sorts of things including, but not limited to, skimpy clothes. Problem don't arise only when someone wears something too revealing but when they wear something that is not considered "normal". People are going to make comments. If the dress code can avoid the potential of those comments being made and ultimately the problems that occur when the one to which the comment is made isn't what the person wanted or expected, it lessens the likelihood of worse things happening.

Then a woman that dresses like a slut then gets mad because someone says she looks like one should start acting like an adult when she dresses.

Apparently he is trying to convey that the last time he was under arrest (the only time he would ever be in court) he was arrested wearing assless chaps. The rest of his crack induced rambling diatribe suggests he has a hairy ass and his fellow cellmates enjoy it. Way to much information, even for his/her gender bent mind.

What are you talking about? You aren't worried about teens. Who rather quickly become "adults", as you might be aware...
But, why would an adult wear something that was incredibly revealing. To work, to the grocery, to the mall, to a club?
Answer something other than "because they can", if you would.

How "revealing" is revealing to you? V-necks? Mini skirts? Sleeveless?

No matter how you answer this, clothing IS NOT an invitation to grope or harass.

If someone wanted to sell a car, they're going to clean it up and try to make it look better than the car the other person has for sale. That doesn't mean someone looking can get into it and drive it without permission but the one selling it is trying to present it in a manner that will get the attention.

    adult vs children folks

the fact that you keep getting confused shows you equate adult women with children.

that is really stupid and could cause you many problems in life
