Ahhhh, Grasshopper. Clueless indeed. Alabama vote had to do with Moore using the trump strategy of denying all claims about his perversions, even though he's on record admitting to the acts.
It worked once, but Democrats won't allow it to happen again.
As for the Jones votes, time will tell.
Once in a while you get shown the light, in the strangest of places if you look at it right.

The Democratic party needs to FIGHT the republicans attempts to keep people of color from voting

It is not like Roy Moore was ever a big vote winner in Alabama. In 2006 he got 33.3% in the Republican gubernatorial primary, in 2010 19.3% in the Republican gubernatorial primary, in 2012 50.4% in the Republican primary for Supreme Court and won the general election 51.8%. He won 38.9% in the Republican Senate primary in 2017.
do you have anything to say, or is this constant babble all we are going to get 4ever
Doug Jones won because Doug Jones probably should have won,
but just like when Obama won, twice, a lot of people voted for Moore for the wrong reasons, it's called democracy, it's your vote

If Luther Strange, whom Trump first supported would have won the GOP primary, he would be the Senator today, so no, Moore losing was not a referendum on Trump

I don't care if people of color vote. If they're stupid enough to keep voting for a party that claims to help them yet are unwilling to acknowledge how bad off blacks are in so many areas having done so, they deserve what they get. If they want to be slaves to that plantation, who I am to say they shouldn't.
Exactly. Mark Begich was a dim in a red state who got elected to the senate. He was more beholden to Reid, Pelosi and Obama than to Alaska and consequently lost decisively the very next election to a guy that wasn't even from here. Jones either will be a blue dog dem or get the boot.
I would like to know what Jones is going to do for Alabama that Moore could not do. Think he'll vote FOR tax cuts? How about immigration reform? Guns? Terrorism? Anything you can think of that will shrink government like most conservatives want? Jones is a placeholder until they come up with a conservative without the tarnish. I understand why those good people could not vote for Moore. I wouldn't have done the same, because I suspect foul play from the democrats, and I predict a LOT more accusations of this kind coming against conservatives. This is what happens when you have no agenda but hate and identity politics, and nothing is working anymore.

“Those who vote decide nothing. Those who count the vote decide everything.”-Generally attributed to Uncle Joe Stalin

You forget that only black people are poor and don't have access to voter ID. They don't have friends or neighbors willing to drive them to pick up a free ID.
Hell, remember acorn? If they would have put in some real effort, no poor black person would have been forgotten.
Yeah, the GOP keeps blacks from voting. It is the Dems who think blacks are incapable and blacks suck it up like Gospel.
But wait, I'll be told I am a racist, and blacks were slaves when family values still mattered. afaic, blacks are perfectly capable, and the few dumb lugs who think they are being suppressed and held back, well, not everyone can be Einstein. If they are incapable figuring out how to pick up a free ID, may be they shouldn't vote.

No he was adamately pro 2nd amendment, nobody questioned that. He was a stooge for Obama, Pelosi, and Reid.
I rarely vote republican but I voted for Sullivan. Begich had to go. And it had nothing to do with guns. Personally I'm for strict gun control.
Also in retrospect he was a disaster as mayor of Anchorage. Completely sold out to muni unions and now we have retired muni workers in their late 40's living in Hillside mansions next door to brain surgeons.

Not to mention those cushy jobs reek of cronyism and nepotism.
Imagine being a stupid pimple faced high school grad knowing he only has to put in 20 yrs. and lives like a king the rest of his useless life only because of his daddy's position in the municipality.

Black voter suppression and all one had to dangle was the mention of slavery back in the day when families were still intact.
