I am sure "Fox and Friends" found some way to spin this as a win for Rump.

Once that show is over, Rump will have something better to tweet this morning.

Bottom line is that in all likelihood in two years this seat goes back to the conservative. I have said that if I were voting I’d have voted for Moore and let it sort out down the road...but I don’t like Moore. He’s way too far right in his political bent. I think if either party wants to win middle America consistently in the coming years they’re going to have to find candidates who are center-center/right. The Democrat elected in this election was closer to the center from the left side of the spectrum than Moore was from the right.

Again, disgusting and disappointing that you would ever support this man in any way, especially since Doug Jones appears to be a very decent human being and willing to work with Republicans.

    Wow.
I hope I don't ever find a thread where you are claiming to hold the moral high ground on anything.

"have to find candidates who are center-center/right".

We don't want or need any "dems" who claim they are center-center right. They aren't dems, they are conservatives.

    No thank you.

We are moving the country forward and don't want to compromise with the racist right to do it.

    Again, no thank you.

I wonder how often you have lectured Desh, or anyone else, about morals and ethics?

Then he answered the question: “I think it was great at the time when families were united — even though we had slavery. They cared for one another. People were strong in the families. Our families were strong. Our country had a direction.”

Moore later added, “The greatness I see was in our culture, not in all our policies. There were problems. We had slavery; we’ve overcome slavery. We’ve had prejudice; we still have prejudice. But we’ve turned the tide on civil rights. And we’ve done a lot of things to bring this country around, and I think we can still make it better.”
I love how you and the writer of this article focus on just what you want to focus on when people say something. Very nice political hackery. As to the other stuff, I’ve already addressed it. Not going to re-hash.

Have a merry Christmas. I’m heading to a Christmas party now. The third so far this season. Taking two boxes of 22 bullets as a nice Dirty Santa gift.
