What's that mean? If being aware that you are being treated differently due to your genetic heritage is "obsessed," then of course. I'm not obsessed about being white because we don't get discriminated against because of our color the way people of color sometimes do. White privilege is a thing.

The claim that white privilege exists is an excuse by those wanting to believe they're being treated differently. However, when programs like affirmative action are in place, blacks are saying they want to be treated differently. They want to be considered based on the color of their skin and as long as they benefit from it, they have no problem using what they say would be wrong is used against them.
