I've made several of the ones I posted. Lately I'm not cooking much, outside the usual meat staples.

I still say Pee-Can, although most here call it peCon... Sounds delish, not tried them but sounds rich, like Pecan pie??

Odd that you follow the same recipe time & again & it does not work out..

So it wasn't me screwing it up all those times

    lol

Soups, stews, stir-fry & dolma (dolmades) are my go to/specialties along w/ BBQ & beef jerky..

I've never had it either. There's a restaurant here called Ted's Montana Grill and Bison is their specialty but I've never had the nerve to try it. I was there last week and had a bunless turkey burger. lol. It was very good though.

Bison is so lean, you need to blend it with something with fat.

There is a local restaurant that serves bison, emo, elk, venison, lamb, gator etc & is a good place to try different types of meat..

Last time I went I had the emo, should have gotten the buffalo. My daughter had that w/ bacon & blue cheese...

Emo was pretty fresh & a bit rare, prob could have used a min or two more on the grill........

There is another local that serves an awesome lamb burger w/ blue cheese.AWESOME!!

I'll probably be asking for some recipes, when I find out what the heck is going on with me. As for now it's just eating what I can, or something that intrigues me enough to eat it despite the misery.

you can eat plenty of awesome delicious food without giving yourself a heart attack at 41 jade.

I cook a lot and I eat mostly healthy (or I should say, not unhealthy)

yes I know everyone, I don't actually just eat taco bell.

In fact, I haven't done late night munchies in like a year. THAT was the fucking worst man. I fucking love midnight snacks. but that shit, not good.
