You can add up to 4 tsps of vital gluten to denser breads like rye to give them a good rise w/o overdoing it.

If it collapses it will have an unpleasantly dense texture to it, especially with already dense breads like rye.

If anyone likes good corn on the cob, follow this. Slather the cleaned corn with regular olive oil, and season with plenty of salt, and tons of pink peppercorn. Grill over medium heat, turning every couple minutes until corn gets tender. It should blacken slightly, but not too much if you turn it enough. Serve with butter. My neighbors copied what I did, and cook it often in summer.

Owl's should like this I found as well. It's more instructions, and you can use any cake, but that's on you.

Such a lovely day here! Winter storm that left in late afternoon, followed by beautiful sunshine. Made a pot of clam chowder for lunch, followed by a vat of home-made spaghetti sauce starring last year's home-grown tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil. A taste of summer on a wintry early spring day. Happy Easter, you all.

Here's something a little more challenging to make. I don't know if I'd ever try it, but it's worth posting. https://www.laaloosh.com/2016/03/23/..._source=yummly

My late husband loved microwaved corn on the cob. To me it's kind of tough. Maybe I'm not doing it right? He always wrapped it in a paper towel. How do you do it?
