How can one possibly reconcile hiring political donors with ‘detecting and eliminating improper biases’?

If you donate to a political campaign you have a financial stake in the outcome of the election. *You don’t get more biased than that*.

It blows me away that that’s allowed to go on. Mueller interviews these people I assume. Isn’t there a box that asks if you’ve donated to a national level political campaign? If there isn’t there should be.
