It still looks like Moore has the edge, but I just saw the Fox Poll, this is strangely similar to the polling on the Presidential race, with HRC in the Moore spot.

Clearly all these Republican politicians are just heroes waiting to risk their lives, when they aren't avoiding military service as they almost all seem to have done (unlike the Kennedy brothers).

Kennedy was traumatized losing four of siblings. I guess you like to go around and find families of military members killed and post insulting hate if they have any substance abuse issues because of it, right?

Perhaps you'd like to list some more of the ways Kennedy was a bad Senator as a result of his drinking problem for some years - which he overcame? Oh, wait, here's an example of someone already doing it for you:

"Ted Kennedy was recognized as perhaps the most effective United States Senator ever, the author with his staff of thousands of bills, often in collaboration with Republican colleagues, over 300 of which became laws. He was called the "Lion of the Senate,” and became a symbol of liberal activism. His tenure was the third longest in Senate history, lasting almost a half-century.

Ted Kennedy did have serious problems earlier in life—notably, in 1969, when he drove his car into the ocean channel at Chappaquiddick, causing the death of Mary Jo Kopechne. Yet few doubt that Ted Kennedy had stabilized his life, particularly after his second marriage"

Hell, Nixon had Kennedy tailed looking for any scandal he could find.

"A few months later, in a conversation with Chief Domestic Advisor John Ehrlichman, Nixon asked for updates about how the spying on Kennedy was going:

Nixon: Teddy? Who knows about the Kennedys? Shouldn’t they be investigated?
Ehrlichman: IRS-wise, I don’t know the answer. Teddy, we are covering–
    Nixon: Are you?
Ehrlichman: –personally. When he goes on holidays, when he stopped in Hawaii on his way back from Pakistan.
    Nixon: Does he do anything?
Ehrlichman: No, no. He’s very clean. Very clean.
    Nixon: Be careful now.
Ehrlichman: Affirmative. He was in Hawaii on his own. He was staying at some guy’s villa and we had a guy on him. He was just as nice as he could be the whole time."

Then he decided to put Secret Service protection on Kennedy in the 1972 election to CYA - and to use the Secret Service to spy on Kennedy for him.

"“You understand what the problem is,’’ Nixon said. “If the son of a bitch gets shot they’ll say we didn’t furnish it [protection]. So you just buy his insurance. Then after the election, he doesn’t get a goddamn thing. If he gets shot, it’s too damn bad.’’

Those Secret Service men could function as spies on Kennedy, Nixon decided.

Nixon: Do it on the basis, though, that we pick the Secret Service men. … Understand what I’m talking about? Do you have anybody in the Secret Service that you can get to?
    Ehrlichman: Yeah.
Nixon: Do you have anybody that we can rely on?
    Ehrlichman: Yeah. We’ve got several.
Nixon: Plant one. Plant two guys on him. This would be very useful."

So, ya, he had a drinking problem for years - and was an incredibly good Senator anyway.

Try being honest and admitting that you don't care about the truth, you simply want to attack him because of your political bias.

So without political bias one would think its ok to drive someone into a lake, not call for help etc. because sometimes you have to sacrifice someone for the greater good and Ted's legislation was for the greater good?

I've got this feeling that this is going to go nowhere; because she's going to withdraw from this, due to being under so much stress.

How come the "M" in "Merry" and the "M" in "Moore" are so different and while the "ore" in "more" and in "Moore" are similar, they're also not identical.
Why would he use two different pens (ink) and be able to do so without showing anything that suggests one of the pens ran out of ink?

Now she's saying that she laid in on the counter and he "signed" it, which I believe is possible; but I believe an expert is going to determine that she added everything else.

Roy Moore is probably a predator, or at the least an ex-predator.

So lets get him elected, then kick him out, so the republican governor can appoint another republican to his seat.

    sounds like a plan, no?
Dems get their predator out of politics, republicans get their seat

every liberal refusing to vote in this poll will be reminded of their reluctance when they pronounce how "owned" republicans got on tuesday if they lose.

You guys want to have your cake and eat it too, and win no matter what.

So I want to get everyone on the record now, before the spin begins on tuesday.

Politics is a zero sum game. One party is going to gain on tuesday. Perhaps the difference is close, or negligible, but points have to go to one side or the other. So which is it?

What is ultimately the BEST result for the republicans on tuesday? Moore winning? Or Moore losing?
I don't like the options and I will tell you why. Never underestimate the GOPs ability to form a circular firing squad. If the GOP acted more like the democrat party they would just say "The people of Alabama have spoken". Did you see Senator Shelby this weekend trying to score points with the DC establishment?

I am still 50-50 on this election. I really do think it can go either way. The fact that Moore isn't over 50% should be worrisome to his campaign. He can still pull it out, but there are a great deal of undecideds

One unknown is how honestly people in Alabama are answering polls going both ways.

Does someone want to admit that they will vote for someone accused of Moore is accused of? Maybe not
Does someone in Alabama want to admit that they will vote for a democrat? Maybe not
