    Moore winning = Republicans winning

Strictly from a political angle that would be a win for the Pubs.

The Dems will pitch a fit while claiming their newly found moral high ground, but it won't wash because...well...there's Ted Kennedy.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

It's 5 hours into this thread and very few liberals have commented let alone voted. Why is it conservatives are willing to put their beliefs down right away? I would really like to get as many people on record as possible. thank you.

The thread title is distracting with the "a honest" thing.

Looks like Conyers' son won't be succeeding him into office.

Can't help wondering what would have happened if Nixon had won!

whether moore wins or loses democrats are going to bring him up as an excuse for republican immorality. Whether Franken ends up resigning or not he will be brought up vice versa.

On this grounds a moore win is an extra vote which is good.

He did win. He elected not to cause a crisis by demanding an investigation.

I'm sorry it bothers you that liberals can have their cake & eat it too on this one, but that's the table Trump & the GOP have set for this. It just is.

As to your question, it's hard to say that the best result for liberals would be a Moore win. A seat is a seat, and to pick up a seat in AL? Seems like a no brainer. I guess if I had to choose, I'd give that the edge.

It's what I'm hoping for. I think a Moore loss could have much more long-lasting ramifications, and lead to more gains in '18, but that is extremely hard to determine w/ a year left to go. It's hard to say what the themes will be once election day rolls around. I also have a hard time pulling for a result which could add more challenge to the lives of his alleged accusers, and really by extension, to victims everywhere. Also, a Dem picking up that seat would certainly be temporary.

I know you wanted a more yes & no, but there is a lot to this one. A Moore loss ultimately is preferable, imo.
