It seems this place is full of trolls lately, lets have this spot for politics minus the riffraff. Discuss any political issue. I was starting on Grand Staircase Escalante in my last attempt before the mods got weird, and closed it. So I'll start with that. I left the original poll out, because I think it might have spurred it being closed.

Does anyone believe for a second, that Trump knew the what, and where of Grand Staircase Escalante? I think some lobbyists for mineral exploration told him what to think, and most of the details.

The land involved in the two monuments will still be BLM land. Any corporate CEO that would attempt to get rights to mine or log on that land would have to be a complete moron and be fired by his board of directors. There is some question as to whether or not a president has the right to abrogate a monument so this thing will be in the courts for some years to come. It has to be pretty clear that the only reason for Trump's actions to again Pander to his ignorant right wing fools.

Why is this a place that doesn't ban the white nationalist trolls, like so many others do. I have an opinion that these are evil people who would like to simply starve poor people if they could, but since they haven't figured out how to do that, they use drug testing to try to do it as much as they can.
