Default Looky what we have here folks. Obama violated the Logan Act

    https://www.washingtonpost.com/world...=.23284bd273d1

Now according to all of our leftardiot friends on JPP, it is 100% inappropriate and even ILLEGAL to have ANY contact whatsoever with a foreign nation PRIOR to an election. To do so according to notable legal scholars such as GayRod and Thingy is a clear violation of the Logan Act.

Now here we have buried in this Washington Post story this little blurb. I will bold it and enlarge the type just in case any of you leftardiot traitors have trouble reading it

Michael McFaul, who served as U.S. ambassador to Russia during the Obama administration, said that he was in Moscow meeting with officials in the weeks leading up to Obama’s 2008 election win.

There you have it folks, an Obama official MET with those dastardly Russians prior to the 2008 election. Where is the outrage? Where are the calls for collusion?

Yes this is WHATBOUTISM because it calls out your rank hypocrisy.

I hope the source is "reputable" enough for our demalquedacrat friends. I know how persnickety they can be about "sources"

We are going to employ Thread Ban Lite on this one.

Nothing at all wrong with a transition team meeting with a foreign government, just so long as their intent is not to undermine the currently elected government.

    Straw Grasping.

Virtually any change in policy by the transition team can be interpreted as ‘subverting the policy’ of the sitting administration.

Inspector Clouseau needs to do much better than that.

Another exciting round of "Look over there! A squirrel!"

According to the wiki entry, "meeting" is not a crime.
A crime is when there is a quid pro quo, or efforts to undermine the current government's position.
"The Logan Act (1*Stat.*613, 18 U.S.C.*§*953, enacted January*30,*1799) is a United States federal law that details the fine and/or imprisonment of unauthorized citizens who negotiate with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. It was intended to prevent the undermining of the government's position."
That is what part of the orange fat ass's administration is presumably being investigated for.

What government position was Obama allegedly undermining or seeking quid pro quo?
