He would call me a man after his own heart and fearless in my determination not to allow lesser mortals to dilute his insistence on scientific rigour. As opposed to careerist third rate climate dilettantes pretending to be real scientists. .

Oh how cute, the cargo cult meme.
Science is a process of facts. Even Dick Feynmsn misses his role in the process, Science. Science is the pursuit of facts, not conjecture. Your link is a premise that science is a stone, stuck in time. It is not. It is a process. A process based on challenge. His ideas where challenged all the way through the 70's the 80's the 90's until now. THAT is science. The process of Science is something you fail to grasp. It is a process of facts working towards Truth. It never gets there by default because it's a pursuit of facts, not delusional 'Final' Truth. Truth is the place of Myth. Facts are process. Truth is what science seeks. Your political bullshit is just that, bullshit. It's the lowest denominator, it's a lie on a timeline.
It misses science and so do you.

Bullshit on steroids, the scientific method is immutable. If you fail to see that then further discourse is pointless. Feynman was meticulous in pointing out that when formulating a theory the scientist is honour bound to point the flaws as well as the virtues. This is something that climate scientists , for the most part, fail singularly to do. This is purely and simply because it has been taken over by politicians with an agenda. I

If you want to know what Feynman's thoughts on the way climate science has been commandeered by politics then you need only to listen to Freeman Dyson who knew him as a student. He is Feynman writ large in my estimation.

In the 1960s and 1970s, a growing scientific consensus held that the Earth was entering a period of global cooling. The CIA announced that the “Western world’s leading climatologists have confirmed recent reports of detrimental global climatic change” akin to the Little Ice Age of the 17th and 18th centuries, “an era of drought, famine and political unrest in the western world.” President Jimmy Carter signed the National Climate Program Act to deal with the coming global cooling crisis. Newsweek magazine published a chilling article entitled “The Cooling World.”

I was not challenging the methods of science. And stating it's immutable just says words. I was stating the concept of facts. Facts have a trajectory, they are built upon but change over time as more scientific evidence is discovered through scientific method/process something I never challenged. You got anything to back that the 90% of scientists out there do not point out their flaws because hell there was just a story last week where scientists talked about the flaws in their data that indicated it was WORSE than they had expected based on overly conservative calculations.

Scientific method, science in general has not been taken over by politicians. At least not in this country. Most could give two shits to the wind. The ONLY thing thats taken over is lobbyists money. And trust me there are not a bunch of rich lobbyists scientists.

    lol

As well as to those who present cartoonish premise that politicians somehow are paid by the scientist lobby, lol.
