Let's start w/ your big tax plan. Once again, you've been conned - there is no way to spin that as anything but a giveaway to the very rich & the corporations. People aren't stupid; they can do math.

And then we can move onto healthcare. Dems own that issue. Trump & the GOP have bumbled it, and the expectation people have now is universal coverage. That ain't the GOP.

Oh, heck - then we can move onto foreign policy. No one wants a lunatic child playing one-upsmanship with crazy world leaders. They'll want a Congress who can keep said lunatic in check.

Women's rights, SCOTUS, the environment, et al. You don't know your history. You're caught up in the usual talk radio narrative that "this is really a conservative country." Americans never like to give one party power for too long - they like their checks and balances.

You're going to lose. Save this thread if you think I'm wrong.
Women’s rights, environmental issues, touting Obamacare and etc, will only score in the same blue precincts Hillary scored, and lost on.

You’d never know it from watching the legacy media, but Trump had a very good Asian trip. Rocket Man has gone quiet. We no longer arm terrorists in Syria. The foreign policy blunders, and they were legion, of the last democrat will surely be brought up next time around.

Unless Trump makes a real foreign policy error, which he hasn’t, you’re going to lose in that arena.

We disagree on the tax plan. I think it’s a winner and will further stimulate the economy. If that happens, you’re prediction is toast.

And that’s not even touching on the problems within your party. The Warren/Bernie branch wants to go further left, and the Rust Belt/working class has been there, done that, and will have none of it.

Nothing but regurgitated, ultra-partisan talk radio talking points here.

I really can't wait for next year. Enjoy doing a few more victory laps until then (even though the GOP did get shellacked in this past election, and turnout #'s gave us a good precursor of what's to come).

Oh - and things like the environment & healthcare aren't just 'blue voter' issues.

Independents care a great deal about those topics.

I'm not just basing it on this past November.

You apparently don't know the history of midterm elections for the party in power.

    That's okay. Grab some popcorn.

What does history say about unseating the party in power during a booming economy?

Are you sure you want it to boom lol?

You’re also in denial about the problems within the Democratic[lol] Party. Do you really think voters can’t get enough of identity politics? Do you really think they want to go back to loose immigration policy?

You are so wrong once, again:

94% of those polled said they would support an amendment to the U.S. Constitution that guarantees equal rights for both men and women. This extraordinary level of support was expressed by both men and women - 90% of men and 96% of women polled. And when identified by political party, Democrats, Republicans and Independents all overwhelming support the amendment as well: 97% of Democrats, 90% of Republicans, and 92% of Independents.

A Quinnipiac University poll conducted just 73 days into his presidency shows that 61 percent of voters nationwide disapprove of Trump’s handling of the environment – more than twice as many voters who approve.

A KFF poll released Friday finds that 52 percent of Americans now have a favorable view of the 2010 healthcare law, a 2-point increase from the same poll last month.

Stop regurgitating talk radio talking points.

You should look at what won for Democrats in Virginia. Those candidates ran smart, issue-oriented campaigns - and Dems own most of the issues now. And the Republicans? They ran awkward campaigns where they tried to portray themselves as mavericks, and not in line w/ Trump or the national party.

Beyond that, at a time when Republicans are looking to retire because many don't want to be associated w/ the "party of Trump," Dem recruitment of candidates is superlative. They have a glut of candidate choices basically everywhere - people are tripping over themselves trying to get nominated, even for the smallest state house races. Another Trump effect.

So, yeah - I do want a booming economy. Dems are going to win no matter what.

Do you REALLY think Americans trust the GOP w/ healthcare?

You need to step away from that radio for awhile.

That is because it was not fully implemented, the Republicans have tried since day one to sabotage it.

I don’t listen to talk radio so stop trying to deflect with that.

I don’t trust the government with healthcare. I don’t trust the government for much besides defense and road building.

Just curious... but where is it we don't have equal rights for men and women right now?
