Default Trump says he will reveal Infrastructure plan.

However doubtful it may be. If he actually passes some good infrastructure, I, as well as some others might have no choice, but to give him some props. This is one thing he does not want to mess up now.

I hope he does as well, but they have a tax bill they are trying to pay for, I doubt any infrastructure bills get passed. They also have not given any relief to fire victims

    What is 'Keynesian Economics'
Keynesian economics is an economic theory of total spending in the economy and its effects on output and inflation. Keynesian economics was developed by the British economist John Maynard Keynes during the 1930s in an attempt to understand the Great Depression. Keynes advocated increased government expenditures and lower taxes to stimulate demand and pull the global economy out of the depression. Subsequently, Keynesian economics was used to refer to the concept that optimal economic performance could be achieved -- and economic slumps prevented -- by influencing aggregate demand through activist stabilization and economic intervention policies by the government. Keynesian economics is considered a "demand-side" theory that focuses on changes in the economy over the short run.

Well if we learned anything from Katrina, and Flint. They don't seem to push to do something until they don't have a choice. In those times they end up spending more money than if they just put money, and effort into it in the first place. I remember traveling the bridge heading north into Chicago, and even the Zilwaukee bridge near Saginaw, and remembering that d rating we have.

The Republican Party never genuinely gave a rat's ass about passing a landmark infrastructure bill - to them, it might as well be socialism.

I love how now they are discussing punishing Republicans for having voted for it.

This was very prescient of you.

Trump's only major legislative achievement was a tax cut mainly benefiting the affluent investor class.

The rest of his failed one term in office did not have any substantive legislative achievements.

But in a few months the ones who voted against it will be taking credit to their constituents for projects founded in their districts

the Zilwaukee is a replacement for the original. It opened in 1988. It was a bottleneck for 9 years of construction.
