"Two accidentally shot in church while discussing church shootings"

"KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — A man accidentally shot himself and his wife at an east Tennessee church on Thursday while he was showing off his gun during a discussion on recent church shootings, police said."

Trust me, I'm an expert on good guys with guns.

Even good guys have accidents every now and then.

I hope he wasn't an NRA member....the dumb shit.

I don't think it is classified classified in the "good guy with a gun" narrative?
    Put blame where it belongs
ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

Anyone here happen to know what brand of guns were used in the topic church case, and in the Plaxico Burris case?

I believe much of this is a matter of proficiency, and safety training & practice. There's never an excuse for an accidental firearm discharge.

But in my opinion some guns are vastly, vastly more dangerous, less safety oriented than others. That's my reason for asking about the gun brand.
"It should be obvious to anyone why conservatives and libertarians should be against Trump. He has no grounding in belief. No core philosophy. No morals. No loyalty. No curiosity. No empathy and no understanding. He demands personal loyalty and not loyalty to the nation. His only core belief is in his own superiority to everyone else. His only want is exercise more and more personal power." smb / purveyor of fact 18/03/18

You mean negligent discharge sear. An accident is something that can't be avoided.
