I don't think I have ever used the term "moderate" for myself. I have said I align more w/ libertarians, which is true. I haven't voted major party since 2008.

I have views which are far left, but also a fair number of conservative views.

    So there.

With regards to assessment of the last three presidential candidates, you are liberal as they come.

Name one conservative policy that you support.

Domestic drilling, privatizing Social Security, tax reform. There are a few others.

Trump doesn't have a core, or really any policies. When has he ever even mentioned privatizing SS? I haven't heard much about drilling, either.

And his tax reform ain't my tax reform.

Domestic drilling isn't nearly the environmental calamity that it's portrayed to be, and we have tons of oil reserves here. I have always envisioned a perfect piece of compromise legislation where both sides win - the left can get more support for domestic & renewable, and cede drilling to the right. It's perfect.

As for SS, it is not sustainable. In 2037, someone is going to have to tell seniors that there will be a 25% reduction in their checks unless something is done. The return if it is privatized will be almost astronomical in comparison, considering a buy in of over 40 years. I have seen you rant about the perils of a market crash, but over a 40-year span, there has never been anything but a dramatic increase.

Tax reform is a no brainer. Our tax system is terrible.

Trump is a con man. Your mistake is believing him.

And you completely overlook the importance of the leadership role for POTUS.

tax reform is a "con man? -this is all smoke and mirrors?

You do realize Trump is opening up more lands for drilling?
    exactly where is this con??

How does Trump lead a Senate of parochial interests, in a divided party?
what leadership are you speaking of?
I don't know how you were diverted / You were perverted too
