Seems like that would be something you force everyone in congress to take them up front, not as a punishment. Using Franken as an example I don't think he needs a class right now to know what he did was wrong. (although some guys on this board do)

It's a counter-attack over Roy Moore to protect their party's history of bad behavior and a distraction from their tax scam bill.

No, the hype over THIS case is. The shifting of trillions of dollars to the rich and tens of millions losing healthcare is a bigger news story than Franken's kiss years ago.

Isn't that an example of white male privilege to say that? (I'm assuming you are white and male. My apologies if I am mistaken)

(and it's not like people aren't discussing the tax cuts)

    No, it isn't.

It's an example of intelligence to say that.
AMERICAN HISTORY ITSELF IS A TESTAMENT TO THE STRENGTH AND RESILIENCE OF AFRICAN PEOPLE. WE, ALONG WITH THE COURGE AND SACRIFICES OF CONSCIOUS WHITE AMERICANS, LIKE VIOLA LIUZZO, EVERETT DIRKSEN, AND MANY OTHERS, HAVE FOUGHT AND DIED TOGETHER FOR OUR FREEDOM, AND FOR OUR SURVIVAL.

No, it's not 'white male privilege' to say that.

And it is like the Franken hype pushed the tax bill out of a lot of the news coverage it should be getting. And that's not an accident. Like the hyped 'Uranium' non-scandal and countless others.

For my knowledge who has stopped discussing the proposed tax cuts because of Franken?

I'm all for the accountability on sexual harassment. However, it's a good question why a politician is held accountable for an act of sexual harassment while voting to take healthcare from millions of people is not seen as worse, but rather just 'a legitimate political position'; why a CEO is held accountable for an act of sexual harassment, but causing great harm such as to the environment is not seen as worse, but just 'legitimate business activity'.

Why Roy Moore ignoring religious freedom and the constitution resulting in his being removed from his office twice and supporting a terrible policy agenda is seen as less of a disqualifier than his sexually harassing and assaulting girls decades ago. The accountability on the sexual behavior is good, but the lack of accountability on the even more harmful behaviors is not.

Bill Smith, of Squirellville, Kentucky. He's just obsessed with the Franken story and hasn't said a word about the tax bill. The tax bill is getting far too little media coverage and public attention. The Franken story is one reason.

How about republicans draining healthcare is FAR more important than what Franken did 11 years ago.

It's more important than who Alabama sends to the Senate.

Ultimately it depends what kind of people you want in office.

And once Trump and then Weinstein happened it's pretty hard to turn back.

I live in San Francisco so you'll have to help me out here. Who is he and why should I care? (not trying to be snarky but just asking)

That's fine, doesn't offend me. But that General attitude is why the behavior won't ultimately change
