Default What does it say about a person when they have little regard for the concept of truth

"Do Americans Even Care That the President Lies This Much? The stats on Trump's truth-telling through 9 months in office are astounding"

"In that 298-day period, the president has made 1,628 false or misleading claims. The president is on track to make 1,999 false or misleading claims by the time he reaches the one-year mark in office."

"The president often repeats the same false claims:
He's said 60 times that Obamacare is dying or "essentially dead." Not true, according to the nonpartisan Congressional
    Budget Office.
55 times, he has claimed credit for "business investments and job announcements" that had nothing to do with him.
Trump has claimed on 40 occasions that the Republican tax plan will be the biggest tax cut in history. It would not—it
    would be the eighth-biggest.
50 times, he's claimed companies in the U.S. pay the highest corporate taxes. Again, just not true."

Guess if it worked for him in his campaign, why stop now, but credibility is a commodity that is very difficult to reestablish, can you imagine that any foreign leader, or anyone he talks to for that matter, actually believes anything coming out of his mouth, Tumpkins excluded, he was correct, they would still vote for him if he did shoot someone on 5th Ave

It sounds melodramatic, but I don't think people really understand the ramifications of not just having a pathological liar as President, but actually celebrating that, and dismissing it w/ comments like "we knew not to take him LITERALLY."

I don't even understand the ultimate impact - but there will be an impact. Dishonesty and the world of "alternative facts" is taking hold, and there probably isn't much going back when it does.

How can a leader address a problem facing the country when he himself won't recognize that the problem even exists?

Plus credibility, why would any foreign leader ever believe anything our President said or promised?

In the end, Trump's supporters aren't really even Trump supporters. They only voted for him because he wasn't Hillary. They really don't care what happens, only that their guy won. That's it! Just look above how supporters will respond with something about the election and libruls can't get over it.

    Put blame where it belongs
ATF decided it could not regulate bump stocks during the Obama administration.
It that time," the NRA wrote in a statement. "The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations."
The ATF and Obama admin. ignored the NRA recommendations.

    I agree w/ this.

There was a great op-ed in the NYT a few months ago about how Trump really doesn't have to do much - as long as he's ticking liberals off, it's good job to a lot of folks.
