you must have learned nothing in the "free" school you were given
So, how educated is our workforce, seeing as how it relied on our free system of education to properly perform in its duties?

it was the best until every time the subject came up you rebuplobots began repeating the meme "throwing money at the problem" as if spending on education was meaningless

Spending more everyday, Daesh! But, you can't spend money to establish adequate parenting or productive popular culture attitudes toward learning. Until then, the debate over how much to spend and which educational philosophies to implement are somewhat beside the point.

Which of those excellent paying jobs do you consider fake? I can tell you in NE anyone in the trades is making much more than any recent college graduate. Just a fact.

From the article in the OP. "Since Haslam, a Republican, pushed for the Tennessee Promise program in 2014, the idea of tuition-free college has gained some traction".

I agree that corporate welfare is also a huge problem. But that has nothing to do with my comment. I would love to hear how my post was dishonest.

It isn't meaningless, but we spend more per capita than almost every other nation on earth. Yet we do not get the results. That is why we say throwing MORE money at the problem isn't the answer.

To begin: We have 435 districts represented in the House. One person elected per district. Yet we have 13,506 school districts in the US. Each typically with their own superintendent and staff. WHY??? Why not let the Principals be responsible for running the schools and maintaining budget? Cut that 13k number down to 435 or at least to 870. The waste in admin in the DoE is a huge part of the problem. That money would be better spent on the kids and teachers.

Public school is not free, it's taxpayer-funded. Teachers are employed by, receive salary, healthcare & pensions from the taxpayers.
Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
    pain in abortion.

Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.
