Default Kim Jong Un is kinda justified in his thinking. NK should become a nuclear power.

The only thing preventing America from invading North Korea is a nuclear holocaust in South Korea. The only reason Iraq was invaded was because Saddam didn't have the weapons to prevent in an invasion, and the same could be said for Libya which gave up its nuclear program in exchange for... what? Magic beans? Meanwhile, Trump is pulling the legs off the one thing that could have worked via precedence -- the nuclear agreement with Iran.

As evil as Kim is, he's actually making the wisest choice, and the one which grants him the most leverage. North Korea WILL become a nuclear power, and Trump can't do much about it.

it makes sense, but unlike Iraq's phantom nuclear program and Libya which gave up it's program
( magic beans indeed) lil Kim's bellicosity makes him an existential threat.

Iran is not threatening to nuke the USA ( no matter what Trump or the neocons say) -but NK is

Trump is threatening NK, and de-pantsing his diplomats in mid-negotiation. Only Trump could make NK seem like the reasonable, rational side of the conflict.

well i think the Iran deal -as crappy as it is -should just be left alone.

But NK's propaganda is way over the top. Diplomacy goes on for what it's worth.
If China doesn't simply freeze out NK supplies, this thing is headed for a showdown

Why is Trump sabotaging any attempt at diplomacy while proving that America can't be trusted in nuclear agreements?

diplomacy can't work without absolute Chinese freezing oil.
the Iran agreement is a mistake to open up in my opinion in that the deal that gave all the cash upfront is done

Was that an attempt at answering my question(s)? Just curious. Why would China help America when it can't be trusted or reasoned with?

China doesn't want a war on it's border. It doesn't want the refugees from NK- or a nuclear Japan, etc. so China does have reasons to get lil Kim to comply.
It also has reasons for not getting lil Kim to comply

Would China have more or less reason to help America if Trump didn't pants Tillerson in front of them during negotiations, and if Trump didn't betray the VERY DEAL THAT CHINA HELPED SET UP (with Iran)?. Fucking hell.

nope. your simplistic thinking is called "zero sum" when it comes to Russia.
it's Deep State logic - ignoring the benefits of a rapproachment with Russia for both Russia and the US.

Nationalism is the way of the world -does China practice anything different? Iran? anyone?

file both of these under realpolitik -the only way to approach international relations

neither. China is practicing realpolitik.. you need to understand this is always an underlying principle
except for crazed "human rights" approaches that are built on a foundation of sand

Why should I listen to someone who admits to having zero respect for human rights, and thinks that Putin's abuse of the Russian people is 'his business'? Seriously, fuck off -- lowlife.
