    Default 1973 : Brown, Columbia, Oregon State Universities Predicted A New Ice Age

    They seemed so certain back then, now we have another body of scientists telling us the exact opposite.

    In 1973, the Climate Long Range Mapping And Prediction Project (CLIMPA) from Brown, Columbia, and OSU predicted a new ice age.

    In 1975, CLIMPA downgraded it to a little ice age. They said bad weather is associated with cooling, and good weather is associated with warmth.

    These same institutions now predict warming. And they say bad weather is associated with warming, and good weather is associated with cold.
    The one thing we know for sure about climate science racketeering, is that climate scientists scamsters will say whatever appears most opportune for future funding.

    Now did Tony Heller, aka Steven Goddard, create the headline, "Scientists predict new ice age" cause the article only cites one individual, a "John Imbrie," who also happens to be part of a group comprising the other Universities who then were "hoping to map the weather of the world in the past?"

    In the next clip we have a "John Theide" doing that exact same thing, and Tony Heller, aka Steven Goddard, again implying that all the universities involved in the effort to "map the weather of the world in the past" were doing the same.

    I think you need to read your "sources" before you go out on a limb, not to mention employing selected paragraphs from local newspaper articles from decades ago

    Yes mate, it was all down to one guy. How clever of you to cut through the crap!!

    The US used to be extremely hot. These sort of historical temperatures don’t happen any more.

    Source: http://lwf.ncdc.noaa.gov/img/climate/severeweather/a-thigh.gif

    Twenty-five states set their all-time record maximum temperature during the 1930s. The vast majority set their all-time record with CO2 below 350 PPM.

    http://lwf.ncdc.noaa.gov:80/oa/pub/data/special/maxtemps.pdf

    Wisconsin was 114 degrees in 1936. They haven’t reached 110 degrees since then.

    The frequency of hot days has plummeted in Wisconsin over the past century.

    The frequency of hot days has plummeted across the US during the past century.

    If we had temperatures anywhere close to the 1930’s heat now, climate scientists would declare with 100% certainty that it was due to atmospheric CO2.

    I know it isn't Tony Heller, aka Steven Goddard, but I think it is a pretty informative source on the topic;

    The putative head of NASA will rein back much of the climate advocacy undertaken by the like of GISS/NASA, and not before time as well.
