ARLINGTON -- Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said Sunday that any of his players who disrespect the flag during the national anthem won't play in games.Jones is the first NFL owner to publicly make a stand about disciplining players who kneel during the anthem. Jones didn't specify what kind of other demonstration he would consider disrespectful.

I have the same lack of respect for the NFL and players as I did when this nonsense began.
The NFL, because they failed to nip it in the bud.
The players, because these have been grown American adult men hijacking the American flag and anthem to suit their sjw cause when there is obviously no connection between them. Though being "grownups", it finally took being ordered by their bosses to stop...they couldn't seem to figure it out on their own. They wanted free airtime to do their thing instead of spending their own money to buy full page ads in newspapers and magazines or hold rallies somewhere else or buy radio time or go on ESPN to do their complaining. The taxpayers built football stadiums to watch football games. By the same token these stadiums can rented out as well for concerts and other events. So in the off season why don't they rent them out with their money, raise the flag, play the anthem continuously for 3 straight hours and remain on their knees for the entire time? Or go and kneel for 3 hours in front of police stations all over the country every Sunday during the off season if their cause is so worthy?

Then I suggest that Jones should fire any player kneeling.

Of course he'll end up in court risking huge lawsuits .. AND any good player he fires will get snapped up by other teams and those players will end up firing back at Jones on the field.
