Default Maybe Goodell should enforce the NFLs rules?

As the article points out, Goodell fined people for not adhering to uniform rules when they wanted to honor 9-11. He chased Tom Brady all over for some bogus air pressure of footballs. But this rule? Hmmmm

The NFL rules on the National Anthem can be found on pages A62-63 of the NFLs game operations manual:

The National Anthem must be played prior to every NFL game, and all players must be on the sideline for the National Anthem.
During the National Anthem, players on the field and bench area should stand at attention, face the flag, hold helmets in their left hand, and refrain from talking. The home team should ensure that the American flag is in good condition. It should be pointed out to players and coaches that we continue to be judged by the public in this area of respect for the flag and our country. Failure to be on the field by the start of the National Anthem may result in discipline, such as fines, suspensions, and/or the forfeiture of draft choice(s) for violations of the above, including first offenses.

Pity ole Rog didn't consult the rulebook first.
Now he is in a no win situation.
I love that NHL is jumping on this opportunity to rope in new fans.

Perhaps you should familiarize yourself with 'the rules', as this is not in the rulebook.

How many times are you going to make that same post? What does the NFL have to do with fallen soldiers? The military spends millions of dollars of taxpayer money to the NFL for military propaganda. Maybe the govt. should match those funds to end the hiring of rogue cops?

A black man has a greater chance of dying at the hands of another black man than a cop. True story

Um...I think the issue is EXACTLY that...what the flag stands for. That's the problem. People give their lives for a number of issues every day. None on purpose. A flag is a poor excuse to die.

The flag is something different for everyone. Don't try to lay your interpretation on everyone else, given that your reality is vastly different from another person's.

Most of those 'caskets' represent our disgraceful foreign policies.

Dude...you're stuck on stupid. Until/unless you can explain what the flag has to do with any sporting event, you haven't made your case.

So why isn’t Kaepernick protesting that? Sorry but I won’t support those who support cop killers. You can.
