Here is some background on the HuffPo writer who took Eric Bolling out. Note that he goes by a by-line instead of his real name:

After a short career doing work behind the camera in Hollywood, Ali Hedayat – reportedly from a wealthy background in Illinois, according to the Plain Dealer – started working as a Democrat political operative. According to several mainstream sources, he reportedly raised between $100,000 and $150,000 for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 campaign. As an individual in recent years, the Federal Election Commission reports “Yashar Hedayat” contributed tens of thousands of dollars to Democrat political campaigns. In 2009, he was appointed to a $131,100 a year job with San Francisco mayor Gavin Newsom, but after three months he left that position for a job with Newsom’s successful campaign for California Lieutenant Governor. It's also notable that Hedayat used the, by now all to familiar, 'anonymous sources' in his take down of Bolling for *allegedly* sexting female employees of Fox News. Who are they? Why don't they step forward? Shame on Fox for caving on this.

If you really want to stick the knife in heart of the media cabal, you need to cut your cable cord like I did. Not watching them does no good. They no longer care about ratings. Ratings don't matter for CNN. If they did the network would be finished.

Carriage fees is how they make their money. You pay $1.88/month to CNN whenever you pay your monthly cable bill whether you watch it or not. With 88 million cable/satellite subscribers in the country, that is a lot of money. Given CNN only gets about a million viewers a day, you can do the math.

I cut the cord and couldn't be happier. Plus, I know my money isn't subsidizing leftists
