Default "The Trump Presidency is OVER" - Bannon

    http://www.weeklystandard.com/bannon...rticle/2009355

“The Trump presidency that we fought for, and won, is over,” Bannon said Friday, shortly after confirming his departure. “We still have a huge movement, and we will make something of this Trump presidency. But that presidency is over. It’ll be something else. And there’ll be all kinds of fights, and there’ll be good days and bad days, but that presidency is over.”
    Discuss, yeah?

"Bannon says that his departure was voluntary, and that he’d planned it to coincide with the one-year anniversary of his joining the Trump campaign as chief executive, on August 14, 2016.

“On August 7th , I talked to [Chief of Staff John] Kelly and to the President, and I told them that my resignation would be effective the following Monday, on the 14th,” he said. “I’d always planned on spending one year. General Kelly has brought in a great new system, but I said it would be best. I want to get back to Breitbart.”

Bannon says that with the tumult in Charlottesville last weekend, and the political fallout since, Trump, Kelly and he agreed to delay Bannon’s departure, but that he and Kelly agreed late this week that now was the time for Bannon to leave."

    Try again, bed wetter.

Yep. Like so many swamp creatures trump brought into the White House, Bannon grew tired of all the Jerry Springer shit instead of the implementation of his pet policies.

Same for the CEOs. They realize that trump is a moron, with absolutely no interest in anything but the spotlight. Get between him and the light, and you're gone.

trump had a choice between the establishment gop or the republican base. He chose the GOP politicians. I doubt he will get anything done now. I think we are in his lame duck period. I doubt any of his campaign promises from tax cuts to border wall will be fulfilled.

i couldnt fathom it because there is no upside to it. Trump has always been politically savvy. Take this charlottesville thingee. Trump actually managed to turn it into a situation where most of the country agreed with him not the MSM. On an issue which should have been disastrous.

I do want to make it clear that I do not regret supporting Trump. Better to have some chance of getting what you want rather than 0% like i would have gotten with clinton.

I dont see how Trump becomes anything but a puppet for Mcconel and Ryan from now on.
