How to know when you're too far gone. Tom, you should get therapy. That is one of the saddest things I've read on here.

You have lost your compass, and your rationality. Not "truly innocent." Christ.
I put him on ignore, he's lost his mind. I don't know what's happening to him, but it's tragic, such a drastic change in his personality over the last year. I have nothing nice to say to him, so thought it best to ignore him.

Good strategy. Avoids risking being suspected of thanatophilia.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Good I feel the same about you!! That ignorant racist TTQ64 said that she didn't want any police, black or white, in black areas. To me, and anybody rational, that is stark raving bonkers but you were so terrified to be considered not 'right on' that you said nothing.

I fail to see how anyone can disagree with this. The U.S. is far from immune from external extremist threats and internal extremist threats. From any ideological "belief" that is driving them to justify the action. No one group has sole ownership over fucked up ways of thinking.

Yet they do all the same, Moontwat is understandable as he/she/it is a Muslim that just spews out endless anti-Jewish propaganda but the others baffle me.

I do not know. Emotions are high, people do not think clearly. Or forget. What you are alluding too we have gone through before. The bombing of the Cole, Khobar towers, etc. It was like a road map we were going to get hit. Then of course 9/11. Every time it has been a domestic source of terrorism, we always hear how they were on someones radar. Americans need to watch what is going on overseas. Closely. Those have all been soft targets. Crowded spaces, lots of people, easy targets. Our country is full of those type targets.

Very true....... Since 9-11 it has been apparent that our ability to hit, & not be hit back is gone...
