Default The same as book burning

Tearing down these statues and monuments, is the equivalent of book burning.
It is an attack on the 1st amendment.

Calling everything 'fake news' is the equivalent of book burning. Confederate monuments and flags were raised to thumb black people in the eye during the Civil Rights movement.
In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

US History is firmly intact. It's a friggin' statue, of a guy who lost a war that was intended to preserve slavery.

To say it's an "attack on US History" really boggles the mind. You guys are all the way down the rabbit hole.

That is, in part, an absurd comparison, but at least you realize that this goes deeper than some statues. Good on you.

    That's just dumb.

Purely an emotional argument, not an intellectual argument.

it's another attempt to whitewash history to one of political correctness- very close to the Cultural Revolution's goal.
The proof is LW idiots who now want to move onto Lincoln, etc.
