That's because you're dopey and uninformed, Legion. Not my fault that you've never heard of the Cryosphere!

Here is how WaPo treats the same information, naturally they use trillions of tons as a measure as that is far more scary to the naive and bewildered.

Volcanoes and hydrothermal vents spew trillions of tons of CO2 daily or at least weekly. CO2 is normal, is not a pollutant, and you would be dead without it

I believe the climate is always changing, naturally. We do contribute to the destruction in some way, but that can be off set if we try. Hysteria I don't buy.

Not true, volcanoes emit around 0.3 billion tonnes CO2 per year whereas humans produce around 40 billions tonnes.

Nor do I, which why it is tremendously important to keep things in perspective. Climate alarmists love to talk about trillions of tonnes but it is truly irrelevant and impossible for many to understand.

Theory is that the ice age hysteria of the 70's was a media based myth, but when hysteria repeats itself, of course it being warming these days, many scratch their heads.

If CO2 was as dangerous as some say, then we would need to exterminate all mammal life in order to protect the Earth

Yes the increase has resulted in wide scale greening of formerly desert areas and a large increase in crop yields.

CO2 is rising rapidly, but the temperature isn't rising. New Jersey is having the coolest Summer ever, the people watering their lawns look stupid as everything is green anyway. There have been ZERO 100 degree days

Okay, so how much is melting of Greenland contributing to sea level rise? Estimates are that about 270 gigatons of water per year are melting.
