In retrospect, Junior should have alerted the FBI---then took the meeting. Junior is free to meet with whomever he wants on account of the freedom of association thing.

There's no crime in it but it was bad judgment and it resuscitated the collusion theory right about the time it was going down the drain, finally.

Funny how the timing works with these releases.

Oh, and I'm sure they're quite alone in that. Not lol.

The difference is Trump's campaign gets the fine toothed comb treatment. I'd love to know how many of Clintons people 'talked to Russians' but nobody cares enough to find out.

It's all about Trump. It's all about Russia. All the time.

I guess you have failed to notice, they go over every Presidency with a fine tooth comb. It is the nature of the press, always looking for the hot scoop. Donald should have known this, he thought he wanted the "fame", but wanted to control it, you can't control it, it controls you.

You're right that the press tries to get the scoop. But some scoops get legs while others wither on the vine.
    __________

JOHN PODESTA In March — that is, long after the election was over — it was revealed that Mrs. Clinton's campaign chairman had failed to disclose the receipt of 75,000 shares of stock from a Kremlin-financed company — Joule Unlimited — for which he served as director from 2010 to 2014, when he joined the Obama White House in 2014.

Failure to disclose a Russian connection by someone in the Clinton campaign. And an actual business relationship at that, as opposed to talking to a Russian or meeting some Russians or whatever.

What should they do about it?

I don't mind if they investigate Clinton or Podesta and she's use to it.

Well, Hillary scored a Uranium deal with the Russians. Uranium is a strategic asset that carries some hefty national security concerns.

It's no biggie but Junior trying to scoop some dirt on Hillary from the same Russians is?

People in other parts of the world who watch our politics must think we're nuts.

Most presidents get a honeymoon period, Trump was being pilloried from day one. Primarily I would suggest because they just couldn't handle the fact that got the result so wrong.

You keep repeating this misinformation, even when you have been set straight on the actual facts. People in other parts of the world think we are absolutely nuts for electing Trump.

There are very obvious reasons Trump didn't get a honeymoon, his tweets.

It wasn't his tweets, it was the media's twits.
