CNN is reportedly implementing strict new rules for the network's stories regarding Russia.
CNNMoney executive editor Rich Barbieri sent out an email Saturday regarding the network's new rules after the network a day earlier issued a retraction on one of its stories.
"No one should publish any content involving Russia without coming to me and Jason [Farkas]," said the email, obtained by BuzzFeed News.
"This applies to social, video, editorial, and MoneyStream. No exceptions," the email added. "I will lay out a workflow Monday."
CNN deleted a story from its website Friday evening about congressional investigators allegedly focusing on a Russian investment fund whose top executive met with a Trump transition team member. The news outlet later issued a retraction after being contacted about the story's disappearance, according to a report.
"On June 22, 2017, CNN.com published a story connecting Anthony Scaramucci with investigations into the Russian Direct Investment Fund," The retraction reads. "That story did not meet CNN's editorial standards and been retracted. Links to the story have been disabled. CNN apologized to Mr. Scaramucci."
According to the original report, CNN claimed the Senate Intelligence Committee was investigating a Russian fund and its connections to discussions between the bank's head and White House adviser Jared Kushner.
The story, which is based on information from one unnamed source, also linked Treasure Secretary Steven Mnuchin to investigations surrounding Trump transition team executive committee member Anthony Scaramucci and the Russian fund's chief executive.
The story disappeared without any further information. BuzzFeed News contacted CNN after they noticed the story's disappearance on Friday evening, an hour later a retraction appeared on the site.

what is happening at CNN is a sinking ship with the crew members trying to plug up the holes without bringing it into port for repairs.
Rather they would like to continue at sea on present course while plugging.
They went all in on promoting Hillary, they figured it was a sure thing, that hell if you could get an unqualified first black President in the door career politician first female should be a piece of cake.
All we have to do is destroy Donald trump, no problem.
And since that epic fail they have been in full blown, "well maybe we can derail him and say I told you so" mode. And the whole charade is falling apart.
Someone in some upper level board meeting is saying, stop the onslaught, back off and lets see where the wind blows this thing before we come so irrelevant our numbers sink to MSNBC levels.
CNN is theatre, there are no journalists left in that organization.

The Russian twoofer crap has gotten beyond ridiculous.
I'm just glad Trump is finally standing up to the real culprit behind the Russian hacking: Obama. PHEW! I thought Trump might target Putin, but we dodged that bullet.
Apparently Trump just heard (for the first time ever!) that Obama didn't come down hard on Russia for their pro-Trump hacking, even though he had access to the information for 5-6 months, which is totally infuriating to Trump. Meanwhile, General Flynn (with Trump's blessing) was speaking with Russian ambassadors that he'd reverse the punitive sanctions that Obama administered for their election hacking.
Wheeeeeee!

Senate increased sanctions on Russia last week,, Germany doesn't want them!
Merkel sharpens attack on US sanctions against Russia

Ms Merkel’s latest broadside is aimed at a bipartisan Senate move to toughen sanctions on Russia over the Kremlin’s aggression in Ukraine, nuclear weapons deployment, and alleged interference in the US presidential election. Much of the bill, which is also expected to pass through the House of Representatives, codifies existing sanctions to make it harder for them to be relaxed, amid fears earlier this year that Mr Trump might take a pro-Moscow line.
But the draft includes new measures targeting Moscow’s controversial Nord Stream 2 pipeline to the EU, in which German and Austrian companies are investing. As well as hitting Russian entities, the sanctions would cover foreign groups supporting Russian “gas export pipelines”.
Berlin has condemned the plan for interfering in European energy affairs and threatening “illegal extraterritorial sanctions against European companies that participate in the development of European energy supply”.
Germany is incensed that the bill expands the justification for sanctions beyond Russia’s aggression in Ukraine — the original basis of a joint US-EU sanctions policy carefully crafted by Ms Merkel and Mr Trump’s predecessor Barack Obama.

Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

Fake news..
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."
