    no it wouldn't. the people would very quickly be sedated with the knowledge that the vast majority of states will have it legal anyway. the illegal states will probably still remain red. (alabama wont turn blue)

    Overturning Roe - the crux of such a raw, emotional issue for so many - would be absolutely seismic. There is no way it wouldn't be perceived as one of the hardest shifts right that this country has had in decades.

    I don't know about Dem rule for 25 years - but it would affect at least a few elections.
