My pessimism again turns out to be right. It was pointless to spend so much effort on one seat. Now the Democrats have hyped this election up so hard that it seems like a massive upset that they didn't win what they weren't ever even likely to win in the first place. Should've sent that 30 million to the most vulnerable house seats in 2018 rather than blowing it all on this.

Whatever. Let the Republicans gloat. Overconfident people do stupid things, and rationally any Republican who won their seat by less than 10% of the vote should be shaking in their boots. Maybe we'll lose the Pelosi dead weight out of this too.

By "overconfident people" are you referring to those who proclaimed that Trump didn't stand a chance to win the election or maybe those who said Hillary would win in a landslide or many more of the liberal snowflake screw ups??
