The hell it wasn't.
Adl-Tabatabai's story was then spread by and elaborated on by other fake news websites, including SubjectPolitics, which falsely claimed the New York Police Department had raided Hillary Clinton's property. The website Conservative Daily Post ran a headline falsely stating that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had confirmed that story.[11]
A poll conducted by Public Policy Polling on December 6–7, 2016, asked 1,224 U.S. registered voters if they thought Hillary Clinton was "connected to a child sex ring being run out of a pizzeria in Washington DC?" The poll showed that 9% said that they did believe she was connected, 72% said they did not, and 19% were not sure.[73][74][75]
A poll of voters conducted on December 17–20 by The Economist/YouGov asked voters if they believed that, "Leaked e-mails from the Clinton campaign talked about pedophilia and human trafficking - 'Pizzagate'." The results showed that 17% of Clinton voters responded "true" while 82% responded "not true"; and 46% of Trump voters responded "true" while 53% responded "not true."[76][77][78]
In November 2016, Michael T. Flynn, then on President-Elect Donald Trump's transition team and Trump's designate for National Security Advisor, posted multiple tweets on Twitter containing conspiratorial material regarding Hillary Clinton alleging that Clinton's campaign manager, John Podesta, drank the blood and bodily fluids of other humans in Satanic rituals, which Politico says "soon morphed into the '#pizzagate' conspiracy theory involving Comet Ping Pong".[84]

The unhinged conspiracy theory now known as "Pizzagate" has resulted in a man bringing an assault rifle to the DC bar named in the theory, according to local police.
"Pizzagate" claims that Democratic operatives placing orders at Comet Ping Pong were actually using code to talk about underage prostitutes.
This strange and convoluted conspiracy theory, which also involves allegations of occult rituals, has its origins in false accusations about the Clintons that began spreading in late October. The original theory claimed that the Clintons and other government figures were involved in a global human trafficking and pedophilia ring.
This one example shows how Trump supporters, members of 4chan and Reddit, and right-wing blogs in the US and in other countries combined to create and spread viral misinformation during the election season...
A 4chan thread from Nov. 3 also shows people trying to create memes linking human trafficking and Hillary Clinton. And an earlier thread on Reddit pleaded with people to get the word out about the "world-wide Pedo-Ring connected to the CLINTON FOUNDATION, that just so happens to also be taking over the USA for good."

Eventually, Comet Ping Pong was falsely named as a supposed hub where this nefarious activity was being coordinated. The bar's owner and employees soon found themselves facing an onslaught of abusive social media comments. On Dec. 4, a man with an assault rifle approached the bar, and later told DC police that he “came to self-investigate ‘Pizzagate.’"

okay I apologize......no, instead of "ruin" her life, how did pizzagate "destroy" her life?.......
did someone accuse her of being a convicted pedophile or accuse her of engaging in that crime?......A "lawyer" understands that convicted pedophiles go to prison and your conservative filth cohorts dishonestly tried to tie her to that crime.
