Wandering about for a while, I have had to discover that quite a few of them natives are quite a bit angry. I've even been called an "arrogant twat" today. Arrogant! Moi! - There's a first for everything, I guess.
I'm still not afforded the edit feature, and so that I cannot clean up my bloopers, and am missing the "alert" feature pointing to any and all quotes of my contributions. The latter one is a real pity.

The default settings here make this place more clunky than need be, at least for me.
Click on "settings" at the top and then "general settings" on the left to change them. One of the best things you can do there is scroll down to "Miscellaneous Options" and then use "enhanced interface" next to message editor interface. It allows easier copy-and-paste of images. Does not work with Facebook stuff, though. You have to go the original source of images there. You also have to go to the original source to insert videos. Damocles, the techie guy here, said he would look into making that easier.

More like whining that pointing to the warnings of the consensus of scientists is "politicizing" the threat, while parroting rightard dishonesties and deflections is being objective. Different climate shifts have had different causes. Simply squeaking that conditions have been similar previously, even when that is not completely true, is patently stupid. We've had ice ages before. Yeah, thanks, but I know that. This forum's is the same software we used to have at the place before the last we infested. I had hoped it evolved a bit more since, but no luck. There isn't a setting that alerts you that I quoted your posting, and so you'll have to find this answer (in case you're interested) under tons of muck shoveled in here by the Postmodern one. And the list of entries of groans and thanks under "settings" doesn't provide a snippet of the posting, therefore it isn't immediately clear which posting was groaned at unless you follow the link. That's a bit cumbersome, and wastes a lot of bandwidth.
Otherwise, the place provides for your preferred prey in exorbitant numbers, so I guess you're happy with it? You'll have to follow them around, though, since not that many seem to peek in here.
