Default If Mueller was as close with Trump as he is with Comey

If Mueller was as close with Trump as he is with Comey.

Would Democrats still approve of him being SP?

The investigator needs to be impartial. How do we know Comey didn't say something that made Mueller angry in the past and now he's out for payback?

That's why it's imperative that the investigator has no preconceptions either way.

Gotta love the constant drum of the desperate RW "if/would" horseshit.

You guys are nothing if not consistent.

What the heck happened to the rest of my poll question?

Anyway, it should include, would they still approve of Mueller handling the investigation.

    Maybe it was too long.

I voted no, because I know that Democrats have no double standards.

It is a fair question. You seem to have no problem with Mueller being so close with Comey, but I know for a fact if Mueller was this close to Trump you would cry foul and proclaim it is nothing but a sham and a phony SP.

You know I am right. Just admit it.

Thanks for proving my points concerning the massive ignorance of the righties on this forum. You validate that with your every post.

That really isn't the standard, the standard is the "appearance" of bias or lack of impartiality. Their relationship is a huge red flag. If this was a judge in a simple county courtroom, he would have to disclose his relationship with Comey to Trump and ASK if it is okay he continues to preside over the case and Trump could say yes or no.

    A simple Yes would suffice.

A personal relationship almost always results in a recusal. As you say, for appearances sake.

What we really need is someone that the ruler can trust, someone that has his interest @ heart & we gotta keep firing ppl till we get one...

I'm sure this is what you folks voted for, isn't it???
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Fire Mueller and appoint The Don's son in law. It's OK if they know each other.
