If Canada really really boosts their taxes then maybe they can float 3 extra armored bathtubs and maybe a Tijuana bottle-rocket set.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

Makes no difference to me. There is no need for us to be spending as much as the rest of the world combined for "defense"...

I wouldn't mind us being #1 in healthcare for our citizens, #1 in education of our citizens, #1 w/ the lowest child mortality etc etc etc instead of just #1 superPower....

The US is weakening? That's news to me.
We are fast becoming a third world country under Trump.

I thought long in the past about how the west could maintain its advantage against China in the long term. The most obvious answer I could come up with was to maintain high immigration levels to boost our population and this our gdp, as well as maintaining our extensive network of allies which totally dwarfs China's. Combined we and Europe easily match China for the next century.

Then the middle of the country throws a petulant fit, and a man child is elected who squanders all of that in a few months. Again, there is nothing that can stop China now. Trump, and middle America, had guaranteed this. It's a Chinese century and I wish them luck.

Yea...in your opinion. Considering the source, I'm not really concerned. Or do you also believe Obama is responsible for the power vacuum in Iraq?

Canada with a military, I think that could have both pros and cons.

China's high population requires a high GDP..but that only worked because of over-building.

It can't be done anymore, and now China's monstrous population is China's burden

I have said many times that Obama sat back and allowed Daesh free rein. Maybe you were out to lunch?
