Abortion rights dogma can obscure human reason & harden the human heart so much that the same person who feels
empathy for animal suffering can lack compassion for unborn children who experience lethal violence and excruciating
pain in abortion.
Unborn animals are protected in their nesting places, humans are not. To abort something is to end something
which has begun. To abort life is to end it.

I'm not taking the bait and going down the religious path in this political thread. However, Jesus did tell those who wanted to stone the adulterous woman that "he who is without sin, let him cast the first stone." The New Testament also says "There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." OK? Done.

It just gets more baffling by the day. This bomber was only in England because of our compassion in saving his family from death in Ghaddafi's Libya. He is known to have just come back from a three week stay there. He was also a passionate Manchester United fan, yet could do something as despicable as this!
You'd think that the West would have learnt the lessons of Iraq, Libya should have been given far more help at the outset. It wasn't exactly a secret that Ghaddafi had extreme paranoia about a coup against him so he deliberately kept the national army as weak as possible, preferring to surround himself with loyalists.

Great article in the Telegraph about the Manchester-Libya connection.
