    A new analysis of growth projections by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) shows that seven decades after gaining independence, India may outshine its former colonial ruler, by pushing the UK out of the five top economies this year.

    I don't think most people here were much into the superiority bit anyway - we had Indian MPs before the First war, I believe, though not many, while in my own family Ghandi and Nehru were hugely more respected than Churchill, and nobody was anything but pleased when Tata offered to take over Port Talbot.
