A sad commentary on we, as a people, and our viewpoint of our freedom can be summed up like this. We have liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans, yet those very people look at Constitutionalists as radical and extreme.................so those liberals and conservatives, Democrats and Republicans must believe that the constitution is radical and extreme.

    No, he's not correct.

I have the 12th Amendment open in another window. Do I have to post it here or can I trust you to look it up on your own and be honest about what it says?

yes. the framers no more agreed with conscription during and after the revolutionary war than they did before it. it's why the 3% formula exists.

well then let me be very clear. the constitution IN NO WAY provides the government power to force people to join a military branch.

How about some logic...assuming your brain won't explode.

Simple question: Does the Constitution allow the federal government to provide for the national defense? This is a yes or no question.

you're not using logic with this, you're using your feels. yes, the constitution MANDATES that the federal government provide for national defense, but NOWHERE does it allow them the power to violate the rights of the people to do so, unless you can show where it specifically says such............
