Former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis is blowing a hole in the Colin Kaepernick narrative.

According to Lewis, the Ravens were going to sign the controversial quarterback until his girlfriend Nessa Diab decided to tweet a meme of Lewis on August 3; Diab's Tweet compared the football legend to Samuel L. Jackson's character in Django Unchained hugging Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti, compared to Leonardo Dicaprio's character in the film.

In other words, it was Kaepernick's girlfriend that lost him a job opportunity, not the "racist" NFL.

What the hell was his girlfriend doing getting into it? Why do athlete's wives think they need to say crap about other athletes?

I do think back to the last time I kissed her. And no, there was no funny taste. There was just a very difficult goodbye to a woman I love.

But you go ahead and talk shit.

I don't think it effects his claims. It shows that other NFL teams don't want the drama.

After looking at the evidence I can't see how anyone could say the Ravens don't want him because they are racist.

No, I don't either. I think he is a better QB than some who are backups. But it is not racism. It is about running a business and the flack they would catch for hiring him.

It was probably said in the heat of the moment, wanting to kick the shit out of that guy, who can blame him for that??
"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

I can. He claims to be a grown ass man. He can't let some shmuck on the internet push his buttons. It was very immature of him. Not to mention dangerous. If I were his wife, I'd be pissed.

But he has me on ignore.

Shows he not very stable..........just saying.

LOL, yes, he knows it was stupid... Don't tell his wife, he's already in enough trouble now that football is heating up....

Yeah, it was dumb no doubt. Not sure how that makes me unstable. For better or worse I'm pretty much an open book but on a board where there clearly are some unstable people definitely not the brightest idea.

If I may be permitted to return to the putative subject of the thread, I'd be grateful.

    May I?
