I tend to agree that funding is going to be an issue. trump might try to back pedal from his promise to make Mexico pay, but Democrats won't allow that to die a quiet death.
Not getting the ACA repeal pretty much put a wrench in all future works. trump's entire failed policy relied heavily on the savings realized when you throw tens of millions of elderly/low income people out of their doctors' offices.
From here, true Conservatives are going to micro manage his spending. When they weigh the reality of a wall not working, against the gross waste of $30 billion, they'll opt for more important issues.

What Obama did is utterly irrelevant and regardless of how the decide to waste money it's money that will still be wasted. Not only that this is not a war zone. These are our friendly neighbors and trade partners and the last thing we need in this nation are any European style borders.

Funny how dems didn't have a problem with the secure fence act.

No mention of the bi partisan immigration bill that was passed in the Senate, and died on Boner's desk years ago. Odd how they talk about Obama, but never Boner?
The answer is a comprehensive way to make immigrants contribute (more) to society, and get the most out of the fact that we aren't stopping the flow into the country.

"There is no question former President Trump bears moral responsibility. His supporters stormed the Capitol because of the unhinged falsehoods he shouted into the world’s largest megaphone," McConnell wrote. "His behavior during and after the chaos was also unconscionable, from attacking Vice President Mike Pence during the riot to praising the criminals after it ended."

You say walls don't work yet the huge tide of migrants has been stopped in Eastern Europe. The US is far from alone in building walls.
